Rochester Has a Lighthouse Too

Progress reports emanating from Point Breeze, NY are having an effect on other lakeshore cities. Point Breeze has been conducting a grass roots campaign to construct a replica of its lighthouse, which was destroyed in 1919. Not to be left behind, the Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse Historical Society has now held its own festival to celebrate Rochester's lighthouse which has its own claim to fame as the oldest US light on the lake.
